Speaker
Mrs. Montoya and her husband, Dr. Alex Montoya, have been at the First Fundamental Bible Church, Monterey Park, CA, for 38 years. Her ministries have involved teaching a women's Bible study class for 20 years, speaking at the National Women's IFCA Conven-tion, serving on their Women's Executive Board, assisting in the children's Sunday night program, ministering with a singing group, and counseling women. Mrs. Montoya was born in Texas, raised in California, and taught Christian school for 18 years. Favy has been married for 41 years and has two grown children and four grandchildren.

Ada M. Spangler Women's Seminar Series
In honor of his wife, the late Mr. James M. Spangler and children have provided an endowment whereby Appalachian Bible College can provide specialized speakers on topics relating to the role of women in ministry. These seminars promote the godly role of women in the home, church and church-related ministries.
Facilitated through the Ladies Auxiliary, these non-academic seminars enhance the learning of our female students, enrich the lives of women whose husbands attend ABC and extend to all women interested in growing in the things that make godly women.
