On June 24 torrential rains led to devastating flooding in West Virginia. Our hearts and prayers go out to those who have lost loved ones and those who have been so greatly affected by the flooding.
We are so thankful to many who have contacted ABC with your concerns, prayers, and desire to offer support. Praise the Lord, ABC was not directly affected by the flooding, but we do have staff, students, alumni, and friends of the school who were.
We would ask everyone to please continue to pray for the flood victims. Pray for the local churches that have been affected. Pray for the churches that are reaching out to those affected in their communities. Pray for hearts to respond to the gospel.
If you would like to offer additional support, here are some other ways you can help:
Give Financially
Give Online If you would like to give financially to support the WV Flood Relief effort, ABC is accepting donations, which will then be distributed through local churches that are directly in the affected areas. Your tax-deductible gift can be made online with a credit card or e-check. Select "WV Flood Relief" as the designation.
You can also mail donations to ABC's address at the bottom of this page and designate "WV Flood Relief" on your gift.
Support Student Scholarships
Give Online While we cannot predict the impact on students, undoubtedly families will be affected financially and we anticipate this will deter students' plans to attend ABC. ABC has scholarships in place that help students who have financial need. Your tax-deductible gift can help these and other students who desire to train for ministry.
We would ask you to please give to support our students. Designate your gift to "Student Scholarships."
