In this WORLD article, read about Mount Olive Bible College, a ministry of ABC in West Virginia's prison, and about other similar programs around the country.
"As each man walked across the stage, Anderson noticed the dignity in his eyes as he shook each graduate’s hand and handed him the diploma. In a gown and a hat with a red tassel, their whole demeanor changed, he says. 'Because all of a sudden, they were not khaki-wearing inmates, they were graduating college students.'"

Elementary Education seniors have successfully completed their student teaching experience in West Virginia Christian schools! Here's a testimony from one, Audrey Bowsher.
"The past 12 weeks have been quite the growing experience, and I am thankful for the support I have had along the way. Appalachian Bible College has adequately prepared me to implement the Bible into every subject, and every part of my life.
"As I look back and reflect, I have gained a glimpse of why Jesus loved children and why He loved being around them. I have learned from these students, my mentor teacher (Miss Erin Huffman), and the staff and faculty at ABC."
