The accredited double-major in Bible / Theology and Organizational Management is designed to provide students with a thorough biblical and theological background while integrating core business concepts, organizational structures, and key leadership theories necessary for effective administration.

The ABC Advantage

Our Program

“Let all things be done decently and in order” (1 Cor. 14:40). Just as the Apostle Paul addressed the needs of the Corinthian church, the 21st century demands godly men and women to lead.

This program equips students to lead and administer in churches, Christian schools, mission agencies, and nonprofit institutions through a framework grounded in biblical principles and sound management practices.

This major introduces the core aspects of administration, including management, accounting, economics, finance, marketing, and organizational strategies, with a Christian worldview that emphasizes stewardship, servant leadership, and ethical responsibility.

In Matthew 10:16, Jesus commissioned His disciples: “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Are you prepared to be an efficient, effective servant of the Lord in your specific current or future environment?

Mr. Ken Lilly - Organizational Management Chair

Ken is a 1988 ABC grad with 40 years of business experience, half of which were spent in full-time ministry. He has also earned a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty University and an MBA from WVU.

I am often reminded of Luke 12:48: “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.” I have been privileged to learn from godly parents, pastors, and mentors who poured their lives into me. Now, I feel a joyful debt (Romans 1:14) to pour into others.

Who has been your “Paul”? More importantly, who are you discipling to continue the chain of responsibility? The true test of leadership is seeing your influence reach three generations beyond you (2 Tim. 2:2). Join us as we fill our heads, stir our hearts, and equip our hands to reach the next generation for God's glory!

Why Organizational Management?

Overview

Any Christian organization requires leaders who are both spiritually grounded and administratively capable. Effective ministry leadership demands not only theological understanding but also responsible management of people, finances, resources, and organizational strategies.

This program prepares students to approach leadership as a form of Christian stewardship. Scripture teaches that believers are entrusted with responsibilities that must be stewarded faithfully (Luke 16:10-11; 1 Peter 4:10). Organizational leadership within ministry requires wisdom, integrity, diligence, and servant-heartedness. By integrating biblical teaching with practical management training, the program prepares students to steward God's resources responsibly and lead people with humility and integrity.
